Hello, my name is Evan Major, and I’m currently in 11th grade. I only play football right now — I’ve shifted my focus fully to the gridiron, as well as rugby in the offseason. For school, I’m really into science, and I enjoy writing, especially for APUSH and AP Language. I also like math as it can be challenging, but I love the feeling of accomplishment when a problem finally clicks. I volunteer with CSF, which I find rewarding and a great way to give back. A hobby of mine is reading, and every year, I try to read books from The Hunger Games trilogy or any other book that catches my attention; I recently read The Benefits of Being an Octopus by Ann Braden, which taught me a lot about the power of books. I plan on reading many more books in the future to expand my general knowledge in order to become a wiser scholar.
